Artist's Comments

This is a manip I made after staring into static on my T.V.
It was weirding me out. What if life was really as random and confused as static on the television.
We are all but shadows walking through the digital noise of the world.

That is a pretty interesting idea you have, I've never thought of it..How did you add such an effect to the photo?

The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless.

wow very neat idea.. the only thing i can think of to improve this is that the people don't look quite noisy enough..
but the effect is very creepy

The blury figurs and static nois effect reminds me of the movie "the Ring" (cool movie, BTW)
It's a wide picture, like a movie screen, not like a TV screen. (and that's about the worst I can say about this picture)

That's quite a gloomy vision you present here.
Though it's still alot clearer than the picture on my TV :crash: (I watch 2 shows simultaneously while hearing a third! Can your TV do that? )

Really nice effect but the strongest part of this is the feeling. it has this ghostly isolated feel to it. the motion blur on the figures looks awsome :)

cool manip...very interesting concept. feels...ghastly. definitely an awesome effect

Nice concept, I really like the lack of colours here and the grain. However I think you could darken a bit all those people.. it could help to focus on the meaning.:)

This is an awesome picture, I love the grain. Your description of the piece made me appreciate it even more.
